The mobile companion alerts Traders to matches in the pool and allows then to immediately connect with their desk to execute trades - even when they are away.
Traders needed a clear visual way to see the status of their orders
Liquidnet’s Fixed Income application required a redesign to meet Member requests for a smaller footprint and more intuitive workflows.
To accomplish this we created a stand alone actionable liquidity notification, allowing the main application window to be minimized except for when interacting with the blotter and managing orders.
The old report builder was inefficient and created a large cognitive load for the end user.
This new report builder shows only what the end user has previously selected for a given report - making changes simple.
The negotiation process is at the heart of Liquidnet's application. The old window was outdated, hard to read and full of UX issues. There is a sample at the bottom of this page.
The new window integrates one click execution at the mid with flexibility to counter at the click of a button.
To get to this point in the design we implemented a new roadshow called Liquidnet Labs - bringing a UX testing roadshow to over 50 members and 8 cities.
Liquidnet needed a way to communicate application updates in a way that would be engaging and low touch for our sales team. The messaging is personalized with the individual member's sales coverage to bring a human touch to the application.
Previously Emails were going unread and calling each member (2000+) was prohibitively labor intensive.
After an order executes the market experiences a surge in activity. Surge capture allows traders to automatically capture the momentum on the trade they just executed.
The new order ticket incorporates the most used features of 3 other windows.
The inclusion of the Algo recommendation and order history within the ticket allows members to quickly screen and implement best execution models.
A sample of the old ticket and the old ARM window can be found at the bottom for reference.
